What Happens If a Muay Thai Camp Can't Confirm Your Dates After You Pay?
You paid, but the camp can't confirm your dates or cancels. Your three options, how a 100% refund works when the camp can't confirm, and how that differs from cancelling yourself.
On this page
Short answer: if you have paid and the camp cannot confirm your requested dates, or cancels your booking, you choose between alternative dates that we propose, a different camp, or a refund of 100% of the amount you paid, including any payment processing fees.
That is the rule in our Terms. This guide explains how it works in practice, what is different when you cancel, and what to check before you pay or buy flights.
1. Why a camp might not confirm your dates
Muay Thai camps are small, independent businesses, and they confirm bookings by hand. Every camp we list works this way (checked in our system on 21 October 2026): a booking is a request that the camp has to accept, based on its availability for your dates.
Our Terms say the same: all bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant camp, and a booking is not confirmed until payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by Elite Fight Fitness or the camp.
That is why we ask you to treat your dates as requested until you see the confirmation.
2. What happens, step by step
- You choose a package and pay.
- Your request goes to the camp, which checks your dates.
- The camp confirms, and your booking is confirmed. Or the camp cannot confirm your dates, or cancels.
- If the camp cannot confirm or cancels, you choose one of three options (below). Nothing is decided for you.
We do not promise a confirmation time, because the camps do not commit to one in writing.
3. Your three options
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| Alternative dates | We propose other dates. You decide whether they suit you. |
| A different camp | We suggest another camp that has space for your dates, and you decide. If it costs more, you pay the difference only if you accept it; if you don't, you can still choose the 100% refund. If it costs less, the difference is not refunded; you can choose the 100% refund instead. |
| A refund of 100% | You get back everything you paid, payment processing fees included. |
4. How a refund works
- It covers the full amount you paid, including payment processing fees, if the camp cannot confirm your dates, or cancels.
- Approved refunds are normally processed within 5–10 business days after approval, to the original payment method where possible. Timing can depend on your bank, card provider or payment processor.
5. This is different from cancelling yourself
The 100% rule is for a camp that cannot confirm or cancels. If you change your mind, a different policy applies, and the rule that counts is the one shown when you pay. At the time of writing (checked 21 October 2026):
| What you booked | If you cancel |
|---|---|
| Package with accommodation | The camp's own rule, shown before you pay. At the moment every camp we list has the same rule: non-refundable. |
| Training-only or private lessons | More than 14 days before your start date: refund minus 10% of the total paid and minus payment fees. Within 14 days: non-refundable; the camp may decide an exception. |
| eSIM and airport transfer | More than 14 days before the service: refund minus 10% and payment fees. After that, or once the eSIM is activated or the transfer has taken place: non-refundable. |
Rules can change, so always read the version shown at checkout.
6. Before you pay, and before you buy flights
- Read the cancellation rule on the package page before you pay. It is where the camp's rule for rooms is shown.
- Consider waiting for the confirmation before you buy non-refundable flights, or choose a fare you can change. Your booking is only confirmed when you receive the confirmation.
- Read our guide to planning a Muay Thai training trip.
7. Your next step
If you want a trip with the room included, tell our trip builder how long you can stay and what you want to spend, and it will show the packages that fit: Find my camp →. You can also compare the camps and their prices in our guide to Muay Thai camps in Thailand. Our refund policy has the full wording.
